The Black Box High-Density Media Converter System II offers the high-speed benefits of switched, transparent and protocol independent media converters.
While using the 6- or 20-Slot Chassis Platform you have the chance to use SNMP Management functionality by ordering and inserting the SNMP module LMC5200A. This gives you the ability to control and maintain your fibre network. The system will work fine without the SNMP module as well.
The SNMP module is shipped with the iView software (for Windows platforms). That combination enables you to use outstanding security functionalities with our FFTx edge devices.
Besides the state of the art troubleshooting features like FiberAlert and LinkLoss, this system provides extras to ensure stability and usability of your fibre backbone. Even just before your system fails totally, the 'Last Gasp' feature will inform you what is happening.
While using the 1- Slot Chassis Platform you have simple-to-use and easy-to-deploy modular media converters for your desktop or DIN-RAIL. The LMC5103A-R2 Chassis accepts DC Power from 7 to 50 Volts and AC Power.
