Identify your cables at the speed of light!

When you need to re-route or change a patch cable in a crowded cabling cabinet, you can't be 100% sure you'll pick the right cable, unless both ends are clearly identified. Disconnecting the wrong cables may break security or vital processes and cost your enterprise unpredictable downtimes. As a solution to these drawbacks, Black Box introduces this range of patented patch cords that feature two embedded plastic optic fibres. No need to unplug the cable, just place the Light Injector over the RJ-45 plug at one end and the opposite end will light up for 100% failsafe identification.

Switch the light on.		Place the light injector over the boot of the patch cord.		See the light coming out at the other end.
